If most of the architects are men and perhaps there is a disconnect because it’s not an issue that affects them. So this just highlights how important it is to have diversity in architects. More diversity, more different points of views and awareness of how others use buildings would result in more efficient designs. The countless times I’ve been in a big queue and not because people are being slow just not enough stalls to facilitate the time women need, its just simple maths! Why aren’t more women and ethnics doing something about it?
